Built on a Legacy.
Norik Vardanian didn't just learn weightlifting — he inherited it. The son of Yurik Vardanyan, one of the greatest Soviet weightlifters in history, Norik began his career in 2002 under his father's direct coaching.
He competed for Team USA from 2003 to 2009, spending four years as a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. After winning back-to-back Armenian National Championships, he made the 2012 Olympic team, representing Armenia in London.
Returning to the USA in 2013, Norik rejoined the Olympic Training Center as a resident athlete from 2014 to 2016. In that span he broke six Senior American Records and captured Silver at the 2015 Pan American Games. Today he passes that knowledge on to every athlete who walks through the doors.
